The Des Imagistes website is now live. This was a class project for Nick Montfort’s CMS workshop class. Des Imagistes was the first anthology of poetry published by the Imagists. Print versions of the book are exceedingly rare, so this project was a way to share their work with the world.

We tried very hard to maintain the spirit of the original work and keep with the intended aesthetics. The text of the poems was transcribed verbatim, even maintaining potential spelling errors (such as “popies” in Skipwith Cannell’s Nocturnes).

Overall I am quite happy with how it turned out.
